We hope everyone has plans for a wonderful Christmas break! We wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! We are all looking forward to the second half of our school year. Your children are the best part of our day. We are now beginning the enrollment process. If you have not put your younger child(ren) on our waitlist, please remember to do so. If you are sending in birthday treats with your child, all treats must be purchased and individually packaged per COVID mandates. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Character Attribute for January: Integrity

The Legacy Academy food drive was a huge success. Thank You!
Note from our Athletic Director

Our boy’s basketball teams have both been having great seasons! Our varsity team is ranked 3rd in our league and will be competing in our league tournament on 12/14 & 12/15. Our JV team has shown amazing improvement over the season and has been fun to watch. Girl’s weights have been going well, and our cheerleading camp was a great success, as witnessed by the fantastic performance of our cheerleaders at recent home basketball games. We are very proud of all of our athletes!

PTCO News

Hello Families,
After a crazy couple of years, the Legacy Academy PTCO was thrilled to host a Nerf Night last month! It really touched our hearts to be able to provide an event that allowed our students and family members a night of fun! However, we couldn’t have pulled it off without a great group of volunteers. With that said, we are hosting our 2nd Nerf Night this Saturday, December 11th.  As of now, we are extremely short on volunteers for this event. Volunteers are essential to hosting any event at Legacy Academy and Nerf Night is no exception. Without enough volunteers, we will, unfortunately, have to cancel this weekend’s Nerf Night. In order to avoid cancellation, we are asking our parents to sign up for a volunteer position through our Sign-up Genius. We can’t do it without you!
Also in the PTCO News
We decided to try something new this year. Instead of hosting a fun run or asking our students to sell items, we are asking our parents to donate $25 per family. These funds will support teacher appreciation week, the Stampede to read kick-off dance and other incidentals throughout the year. The response so far has been incredible. If you wish to contribute please make checks payable to Legacy PTCO. (These funds will not cover the mother/son night expenses or the Father/daughter dance expenses. We will assess a fee to cover just the expense of each event. These events will not be considered a fundraiser).
Thank you for your support,
Legacy Academy PTCO

WatchDOGS Needed

We are back into the swing of things in our second semester and are looking for dads, granddads, uncles, brothers, etc. to sign up for a WatchDOGS shift here. Remember, WatchDOGS dads receive 8 hours of volunteer time and get to hang out with some pretty amazing students during the day. If you have any questions about the program or signing up, please email; watchdogs@legacyk8.org
