Technology Student Association (TSA)

Dear Parents – Mr. Tony Raymond with TSA will be here at Legacy this Wednesday (weather permitting!) to provide our 6th, 7th and 8th graders information regarding the TSA program and how they can get involved if they choose. TSA is the only student organization devoted exclusively to the needs of students interested in technology. TSA student members take the study of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) beyond the classroom and get the opportunity to pursue academic challenges among classmates with similar goals and interests. Together, student members work on competitive events, attend conferences on the state and national levels and have a good time raising funds to get there. Student leadership opportunities are also available as member students may become officers within their state and then run nationally.

Should you be interested in finding out more about TSA and how your student might get involved, there will be a short informational meeting in the STEM classroom at 3:30 this Wednesday. Hope to see you there!

Canned Food Drive

cannedfoodNovember’s character trait is building compassion in our students. We are excited to see our students open up their hearts to help others less fortunate. Also, it will be fun to line the whole school in cans. We encourage the students to bring in items starting October 20th until November 20th. This food drive supports the Elbert Task Force.
