Meals for Students

Elizabeth School District  will be distributing meals for students from 10 am – 12:00 pm Monday through Friday beginning Tuesday, March 24 at the following locations:

    • Elizabeth Middle School –   34427 Co Rd 13, Elizabeth, CO 80107
    • Singing Hills Elementary –  41012 Madrid Dr, Parker, CO 80138

Free meals provided for any children 18 years old & younger.  Children must be present to receive meal packs. 

Drive Thru-One meal pack will be given per child and will include lunch for that day and breakfast for the following day.

Dear Legacy Families,

This is our WOW week – our Week of Welcome to this new adventure of remote learning! We have several virtual meetings this afternoon with our teams who have just returned from spring break to finalize plans for the students. Please look forward to more communication this evening (which will include information on tech and materials distribution, when learning will commence, support for parents, etc).

Thanks for your patience as we navigate this as a team. We feel your support and appreciate it.

    • Third-grade field trip to the Pace Center.
    • LA Governing Board Meeting at 6:30 pm.

Wednesday, March 11

    • Second-grade field trip to Wildlife Experience

Thursday, March 12

    • Crazy Hair Day $2.00. Students can wear crazy hair and dress of choice.
    • Middle School Honor Roll Dessert Bar (third Quarter) 2:30 pm in the cafeteria.

Friday, March 13

    • No School / Teacher Inservice.
Monday, March 16th through March 20th Spring Break! Wishing everyone a great break with safe travel!

Board Elections Coming Soon

Hello to all Parents and Staff of Legacy Academy. The time is fast approaching when you will be called upon to elect directors to the Legacy Academy Board. There are three open seats this year- a one, two, and a three-year term.

We are asking anyone interested in running for the board to submit a one-page biography. In that biography, we would like you to address the following questions:

    • Family Background – please give a brief description of your family background, occupation, and interests.
    • Education Philosophy – please describe your educational philosophy and how you see it fulfilling the vision of Legacy Academy. 
    • Mission Statement Interpretation – please describe your interpretation of Legacy Academy’s Mission Statement and how you envision a board member’s responsibility for implementing it.
    • Commitment to Legacy Academy – please describe your understanding and commitment to Legacy Academy.

All submissions are due by Monday, March 23, 2020, and should be submitted to Jessicca Marks at jessicca.marks@legacyk8.org.
