Elizabeth Education Foundation Volunteers Needed

The Elizabeth Education Foundation provides teacher grants, senior scholarships, community nights with the Colorado Avalanche and Denver Nuggets and honors 50 students annually at our STARS awards banquet for the Elizabeth C-1 School District.  We are currently seeking volunteers who want to make a difference for our students, teachers, and families.  Our next meeting is April 6th at 7:00 p.m. in the district boardroom.  Please come help us make our community even better!  For additional information, please contact us at info@elizabethef.org.

Nerf Night this Friday

Nerf Night is this Friday from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm in Legacy Academy gymnasium!  This is an excellent time for families to play together.  Parents are encouraged to play! Ages 7 and up (6 yr olds may play if a parent is in the gym with them at all times, but all parents should stay for the event). The cost is $10.00 per person. Students may not bring their blasters to school during school hours. Bring your own blaster to the event.  Do not bring darts or discs.  Protective eyewear is provided.  Parents will be required to sign a waiver prior to this event, no exceptions will be made.  The waiver will be available at the office during school hours or at the event.  If any questions, please e-mail LABOD@legacyk8.org.

Carnival The time for our annual fundraiser is coming up quickly. We are very excited to be holding our Community Carnival Saturday, April 29, 2017,  here at Legacy.  We are asking for different donations to help with the carnival and remember that for every $10 spent you get one volunteer hour. Thank you for your consideration.

Summer Mowing & Weed Whacking – We are putting together a team for summer lawn care. We will need to mow and weed whack the property three times over the summer.  Please e-mail Anne at anne.stanley@legacyk8.org or call (303) 646-2636 if you can help!

All School Dress of Choice.

Spring Photo’s for all students, these photos are taken and then a proof is sent home to see if you are interested in purchasing. Props (for example a football/teddy bear) are allowed!

The Mother/Son Amazing Race will be from 6-8pm in the Legacy Academy Gymnasium. There will be games from around the world, food, and much more! We are in need of volunteers to help with set up, run the games, and clean up. To volunteer, click here. We will have a sign-up genius for food soon! Dads! This is a great opportunity to help your wives enjoy a fun-filled night with their sons.

There will be inflatables, carnival games, face painting, a photo booth, cake walk, dunk tank, teacher jail, and food! We would LOVE to have all of your support with this fundraiser! We are asking for different donations to help with the carnival and remember that for every $10 spent you get one volunteer hour. Thank you for your consideration.

Big Thank You

We wanted to thank all the dads that purchased a cookbook at the Father/daughter dance. The eighth graders are very grateful for your support, for we could not have done it without you. Thank you!!
Also,  thank you all the moms who came in on Valentines Day to help with the middle school Valentines Day party. I could not have done it without your help and I’m very grateful. It was a great time and I think the kids really enjoyed the party.
