Summer Tutoring at Legacy

Hello Everyone!
As we all know summer is a time for fun, relaxation and good times. It is also a time when many students lose some of the growth they gained from the year before. Whether you are looking to maintain your child’s skills, get ahead for the next school year, or try and close a gap they may have, summer tutoring may be the answer. I am tutoring all grades for k-8 this summer. I have over 16 years of tutoring experience and I am offering my services for Legacy students and other community members (If you know someone who wants tutoring and does not attend this school please let me know as well). The fee is $40 an hour or if you can assemble a group of two or more (does not need to be the same grade) it is $30 an hour (per child). My schedule is limited to one day a week. Please let me know ASAP of your interest as times fill up fast or any questions you may have.

Inclement Weather During Carpool

In the event of dangerous weather conditions during carpool, we want parents to be aware of the school’s protocol to ensure the safety of our staff and students. In the case of lighting, hail or tornado warnings, we will keep everyone inside the building until the danger passes which will delay carpool. Please remember that we wish to keep your children safe and we ask for your understanding and patience during these times.

Colorado Rockies Breaking the Barriers Contest Update

Greetings to the Students and Family of Legacy Academy!

Thanks to all who have participated in the COLORADO ROCKIES BREAKING THE BARRIERS contest this year. The Colorado Rockies have given each participant 4 tickets to the Sunday, May 13th game to show their appreciation for our student’s hard work and recognition of Jackie Robbinson’s ability to break the barriers in MLB and in history as well.
A shout of congratulations goes to our own Nate Howerzl who took First Place for his age division in the contest and was honored for his work on Coors Field earlier this spring.  Also a shout out to William Carriere and Jack Moons in being in the top 3 along with Nate with their work and effort in the contest.
The Middle School Students have been handed their tickets and the elementary student will have the tickets sent home in their Monday folders today.  Please return any tickets that you don’t intend to use to the Front Office by Thursday, May 10th!  We will be happy to find a good home so the tickets do not go to waste.
Please email me, if you would like to request additional tickets or want to exchange for the Saturday Evening game instead of the Sunday game.  I will do my best to accommodate a change if necessary. Also, please contact me if you are in need of more tickets to meet the size of your family and I will see what I am able to do.
Thanks again for ALL you participated this year and I hope that you have a great remainder of the school year and safe Summer!!!!!
