We are back from our holiday break and our builders have been hard at work over the last month installing counterforts that help brace the foundation wall for all the dirt that we have backfilled along the perimeter. A waterproof membrane was also installed to protect the base of our new addition for decades to come.
Plumbing and Electrical
Rough plumbing for drains and electrical conduit have been installed and rebar placed along the entire area inside of the walls in preparation for the cement subfloor to be poured this Monday.
We are in the last week of school before the holiday as our construction team is working hard on getting foundations installed.
Cement footers have been installed with temporary steel walls placed for future concrete walls to go up. JHL will be working feverishly during the holiday break on rough electrical and plumbing under the foundation slab.
Hass Inc. has been working with JHL on excavating the grade. Concrete blankets have been brought in to protect the ground from the freezing temperatures we are experiencing this week. We look forward to the next phase of the project; installing the foundation.
