Dress of Choice Day-August 28th

We are having our first all school dress of choice this Friday. Below are some guidelines for parents to follow when sending your student to school on a dress of choice day. This information is also located in our Parent Student Handbook.

  • Students must present a neat and clean appearance every day including dress of choice days
  • Clothing with images, graphics, or messages that are inappropriate for school will not be allowed
    • Boys:
      • Shorts – No cut offs, no holes or rips
      • Pants – No holes or rips, no low riding, sagging, or oversized shorts or pants; NO skinny jeans 
      • Shirts – NO muscle shirts or tank tops
    • Girls:
      • Shorts – No cut offs, no holes or rips
      • Pants – no holes or ripsPants – No holes or rips, no low riding, sagging, or oversized shorts or pants
      • Skirts – Skirts must meet the ‘fingertip’ length guideline.
      • Shirts – NO tank/tube tops, halter tops, spaghetti straps, or revealing tops of any kind
  • No hats of any kind, including baseball caps, may be worn in the building (girls or boys). Hats may be worn outside to and from the school and at recess. 
  • Sleep attire may not be worn to school. 
  • Middle school students will be required to dress in PE uniforms on dress of choice days. **PE uniforms MAY NOT be worn outside of PE class – even on “dress of choice” days
